Achieve Internet: applied technology

Aug 22, 2017

I love technology. I love keeping up with the latest trends out there and staying as close as possible to the bleeding edge, but how often do you find yourself working on a project that is UX-rich and heavy on new technologies? Let's face it a project that needs Parallax, Responsive Web Design, Isotopes, FlexSlide slideshows, jQuery scripts, and jCarousel sliders all while maintaining a minimalistic corporate look? Let's just say they don't just fall on your lap all that often.

As you know I worked for Achieve Internet and I had the honor to work on the 2013 revamp of our homepage, which was a part of a bigger project to reinforce our already well-positioned image in the industry. Let me tell you, I have never had more fun working on a website than I did on this one. I literally went without sleep for two weeks. It was a challenge, we decided to test ourselves and we're very pleased with the results.

We had our work cut out for us. We set the challenge to be having this awesome, state-of-the-art, visually pleasing website done and live before this year's SANDcamp, our hometown Drupal camp. We decided to start working on it two weeks ago.

You can see the results for yourself at achieveinternet.com but here's a huge screenshot for posterity's sake.
